Our team helped to raise awareness and support Stand Strong's cause to end domestic violence by organizing a mission-focused fundraising event to celebrate Stand Strong's 40th Anniversary. With a Back to the 80s theme, the event featured neon colors, a dessert auction, and live music.
One Step Closer Parade
Through the Vineyards
Led by the band, Brass Mash, this parade was symbolic of being one step closer to ending domestic violence. The parade weaved through Talley Vineyards and kicked-off the start of Stand Strong's 40th Anniversary Celebration event.
Paella, Then Cake!
After having a delectable paella lunch provided by Chef Charlie, we moved into hosting the dessert auction featuring desserts of all kind — homemade cookies, pies, and of course, Madonna Inn's famous pink cake. All proceeds from the dessert auction went towards Stand Strong's mission to end domestic violence.
Live Programming
& Live Music
Stand Strong took the stage to speak about how this 40th Anniversary Celebration Fundraiser contributed directly to their mission. The Molly Ringwald Project then took the stage to play live music, to which the crowd strapped on their dancing shoes and broke out their dancing moves.
Staycation Drawing
Throughout the event, guests could purchase a playing card from a deck of 52 for a chance to win the San Luis Obispo Staycation Package, featuring exclusive offers from Hotel Cerro, Clover & Branch, Spa Cerro, Marisol at the Cliffs, and Chamisal Wine. At the end of the event, the Staycation Drawing winner was announced.
