Amanda Diefenderfer
Proprietress / Mom on the Move
Amanda S. Diefenderfer founded Big Red Marketing in 2012. She began her career working for the California Wine Institute, Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance and in strategy for a local print company expanding services to meet the evolving needs of their clients. Diefenderfer participated in SLO Leadership, actively supports the local chapter of the Santa Clara University Alumni Association and attended the Panetta Institute’s Leadership Seminar. She was also recognized by CalTravel as an Emerging Leader in Tourism and she published her first book, Listening to Millennials: 56 Priceless Tips for Managers in 2016.
During her four years at Santa Clara University she earned a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Commerce with a marketing concentration. Diefenderfer named her company after the family ranch she grew up on in Paso Robles – Big Red Vineyard.

Angelica Ottman
Client Services Director and Administrative Executive / Mama Mouse
Angelica Ottman is an account manager with Big Red Marketing. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and previously worked for the YMCA, Disney, Cal Poly, and Dignity Health. Prior to Big Red Marketing, Ottman served as Special Events Coordinator and Communications Specialist with Dignity Health on the Central Coast. She specializes in non-profit donor communications, event coordination and management, marketing strategy, and public relations communications.

Through professional experience and education, Ottman has developed excellent communication skills, the ability to proactively plan and prepare, and learned how to create experiences, materials, and messaging that effectively communicate the big picture.
A big believer in customer service, Ottman prides herself on providing support that goes above and beyond the normal call of duty and always finding a solution (or collaborating with her teammates to find a solution) to even the most challenging obstacles. She has always been drawn to non-profit work and has a strong desire to help others. Native to the Central Coast, it is important to her to make a difference in the community that raised her and enjoy life and a little laughter along the way. She is a proud mother of three and understands the importance of balance, the human connection, and being present to be our best selves for each other.

Stephanie Brown
Head of Strategy and Growth / Yogi-Mom-Life Voyager
Stephanie is an award-winning marketer and expert in corporate communications, marketing, and paid advertising. For over 20 years, she has worked with brands, companies and nonprofit organizations of all sizes across multiple continents. She aims to provide insightful and proven strategy to every client she works with.
Although a world-traveler based in Lisbon, Portugal, Stephanie finds her work at Big Red Marketing meaningful because it connects her to the community she considers her home.


Mama + Memory Maker
Macey Schott
Account Coordinator / Memory Maker
A native to the Central Coast of California, Macey is proud to have the opportunity to raise her children in the same amazing place she was raised.
After graduating from Morro Bay High, Macey spent a year and a half at Fresno State, majoring in Forensic Science and Nutrition. Returning to the Central Coast prematurely, she earned her AA degree from Cuesta College and then followed in her father’s footsteps by entering the law enforcement world. She worked for Morro Bay Police Department as both a Records Clerk and as the
Property and Evidence Technician for a little over 5 years. Macey came to Big Red Marketing in search of a well-balanced home and work life and the future opportunities Big Red Marketing can offer. She is currently a project coordinator and works closely with all vendors for the Paso Robles Horse Park to create an enjoyable horse show experience.
When she is not working or creating memories with her husband of 6 years, Chris, and two children, Shelley and Beauden, she enjoys spending time outdoors, from hiking to playing soccer to wine tasting.

Sakina Nanabhai
Content Creator / Midnight Baker
Sakina Nanabhai sees herself as a true creative at heart. With an innate passion for writing, she graduated with a degree in Mass Communication in 2012. Over the years she has worked for a number of tourism companies, and online and print publications as a writer and content creator.
Sakina currently lives amongst the rocky lands, and vibrant skies of Mwanza, Tanzania with her husband and daughter. In her free time, Sakina runs a small home-based baking business, where she bakes scrumptious delights for the locals.
Sakina cherishes her role at Big Red Marketing for the exciting projects and opportunities it offers, and for the incredible team of women she collaborates with.


Amanda Canepa
Administrative Assistant / Horse Whisperer
Amanda Canepa grew up in the California Bay Area and later moved to San Luis Obispo and onto to Texas Tech University to receive a degree in Animal Science focusing in Equine Assisted Therapy. After working in the equine industry in Texas, Wyoming, and Tennessee, she moved back to Paso Robles and began working for the Paso Robles Horse Park in the show office. Through working for Amanda Diefenderfer at The Paso Park, she joined the Big Red Team as a graphic designer, and more recently as the horse park’s social media coordinator and Big Red’s administrative assistant. As a life-long equestrian, Amanda loves blending her love of horses with content creation and working behind the scenes at horse shows. When she’s not behind the computer, you can find her riding her horses and with her German shorthaired pointer on their horse farm in Raleigh, North Carolina.
